June 5-8, 2011: Nurses’ Values for Our Nation

Start making plans today to join thousands of other nurses from around the United States and the world to gather in Washington, DC, and advocate for our patients and our profession!

Nurses’ values can animate a new movement for real progress, particularly in this time of economic upheaval that leaves many on their own. Let’s bring our values of caring and compassion to our nation’s Capitol to demonstrate a different way to do politics.

When nurses lead, we build community as our patients and our society benefit. Join RNs from around the world and from throughout the U.S., and learn from speakers such as social critic and activist Barbara Ehrenreich, AFL-CIO President Richard L. Trumka, and Senator Barbara Boxer, as well as others.

View the National Nurses United (NNU) “Save the Date” Flyer and make sure you SIGN UP ONLINE for what promises to be an unforgettable event! Please note that space for this event is limited and that registration will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact MNA’s Eileen Gavin at 651-414-2871 or via e-mail with questions.
