18 Sep

Nurses walked around the Mayo’s Mankato facility for 12 hours to let patients know they’re worried that staffing levels have put them at risk.

On a dreary day Mankato nurses you rocked. Your informational picket yesterday was awesome. I talked to nurses from ICU, ED, resource, med surg, OB all said the same –ISJ its time to talk, patients in Mankato and the nurses who care for them deserve the same standard of care as those in Rochester. Nurses came from the MNA board and our Economic and general welfare commission, from New Ulm, North Memorial, Methodist, Children’s, and others. We are proud to stand with you.
