WOW! Congratulation to all who have contributed to this outcome, this public acknowledgement. It is a truth that has been aching to surface for a long time. What a breath of fresh air.

Waiting to hear how MNA’s talks with the hospitals are going, but all I see is media hype. Get to the table and TALK! Just FYI-all this media hype is really really turning off a lot of us, and we won’t be walking the lines. Get rid of the “super union” and get back to what matters to US and maybe we’ll chat. Thanks but no thanks, MNA!

dear molly with more nurses like you, management wouldn’t need to hire union busting firms as they have done. You and your few friends don’t have to walk the line or stick which your mna nurses, who need all the help they can get.so just keep on turning your back on them and they’ll get the job done without you.

      Dear Terry S.
Agree 100%. The abbottnurse that just put her penny in should hear the same thing too! She could benefit from your wisdom. Thank you Terry! Go MNA RNs! SOLIDARITY! See you tomorrow! We’ll get ‘er done!

Open your eyes, Terry S. Ask around and see who really approves of MNA these days. We voted NO to what the hospitals offered, not YES to public humiliation of our profession and union groupthink. Many don’t agree with the way MNA is conducting themselves and representing us. We do support our fellow nurses and what’s important to them, not the super union.

      Molly
Thank you for speaking out. I am always glad to see that MNA RN’s are not all in the same place of being abusive and disrespecful in their language and behaviors. I do wonder how many are feeling the way you do. Wish it wasn’t so threatening to share any thoughts on this post that are NOT in the same negative tone of MNA RN’s who are bashing others. Some have said regarding ALL MNA RN’s ‘we are one’ – ‘we stand united’. Would all of you put your kids in front of a bus and shout very hurtful and hateful comments at the very nurses who came in to take care of and maintain safety for the very patients you walked out on? I hope not. What a disheartening site. Very hard to believe that anyone who claims to fighting for safety would do that to their own children. If any of the RN’s that came to work at ANW (travelers and MNA RN’s who crossed the line) on June 10th are reading this post: THANK YOU. You are an incredible group of nurses ready to step in to do anything you were asked to do. No complaints, no statements of don’t have time, no disrespect – just an absolute focus on providing excellent care to our patients. Again Thank you for coming to work. It was a pleasure working with you. You represent what I believe nursing is about.

    THANK YOU Molly!

dear molly,my eyes are wide open, are yours?by the way your term groupthink is a term that goes both ways.if you are so humiliated, there are plently of non-union places for you to work.unions were formed to balance the playing field, are you really that naive to believe that management is going to deal fairly with us without a union.i really wish that representation was not needed, but it is… you need to understand all the dynamics that are currently in place and to know that without someone to help us ,we are toast.ask yourself why management would give us the things we ask for without representation? unless you agree with them?
